Ciao mi chiamo Andrea ,La moto e' stata costruita a Castiglione di Cervia in provincia di Ravenna, da un gruppo di
appassionati per la Suzuki T500 e  la voglia di vederla ancora una volta vincente in pista a battersi con una schiera di quattro tempi che purtroppo d'epoca hanno solo le sembianze esterne. Per quanto riguarda il telaio ( frame ) e' stato costruito artigianalmente da Federiconi Furio, ben conosciuto dai frequentatori di moto d'epoca della nostra zona, la meccanica e' seguita interamente da Vernocchi Giuliano ex meccanico di Randy Mamola e Walter Villa nonche' creatore insieme all'Ing Witteven(Aprilia) della "Adriatica" moto 250 che ha corso negli anni 80.  Il Sig. Montanari Renzo, oltre che essere uno dei fautori dell'iniziativa, si occupa della reperibilita' e della ricerca dei pezzi (alberi motore, cilindri, gomme, pastiglie freno, etc).  Io oltre che appassionato da sempre di moto 2 tempi sono quello incaricato alla guida. La moto dopo circa 1 anno di incubatoio ha iniziato a muovere i primi passi circa 3 mesi fa e ha sentito la pista il 3/4 Agosto a Magione per la prima volta in occasione della gara di gruppo 4. Le prime indicazioni sono molto confortanti, 5 posto assoluto di categoria,  anche se
lo stato evolutivo e' circa al 70%, dobbiamo infatti provare una nuova accensione, nuove teste, e nuovi pistoni. L'intenzione e' quella di
partecipare il prossimo anno al campionato italiano Classiche Gruppo 5. La passione e' tanta e molte sere sono passate in officina fino a notte fonda, l'odore dell'olio di ricino e il rombo del 2 tempi purtroppo sono come una droga. CIAO

Hello !  My name is Andrea.The bike was built in Castiglione di Cervia, a town in Ravenna country, by a group of fans for the Suzuki Model T500.They were only supported by the strong willingness (and hope, too) of seeing it once more time running and winning on the tracks; well ready and prepared to fight with and against the rank of “four strokes”, which regretfully should seem only to have the external appearance of the really old ones ! The frame has been manufactured and handicraft manly assembled by Mr. Furio Federiconi, well known person by the fans for “old cycles”, living in our region. By mechanical point of view, the project has been supervised by Mr. Giuliano Vernocchi, former mechanic of Randy Mamola and Walter Villa, who, together with Mr. Witteven (formerly in Aprilia as engineer), of the “Adratica 250” model, running in Eighties.Mr. Renzo Montanari, beside being one of the promoters of the whole project, is engaged in search and availability of spare parts, as cam shafts, cylinders, tires, braking pad's , etc. By my part, still being real fan for the “two strokes”, I’m the person in charge for the driving tests. The bike, approx. after one year of “incubation”, moved its own steps about three months ago and for the first time tested the track at Magione, in Perugia region, for a  race of “Group 4”.The preliminary results were very positive, having obtained the absolute 5th rank in its own category, even if the evolution could be considered approx. at only 70% level. Furthermore indeed we have to test a new ignition system, new heads and pistons. It should be our intention of taking part the next year to the Italian Championship “Classiche Group 5”Our love and passion are enough strong. Many evenings are spent in workshop, in “our garages”, until deep night or early mornings, where both the smell and the fragrance of the oil (ricino) and fuel, the “roar” of  the “two strokes” should seem to have as a drugging effect.
