| Live in: | Verscio, a small village in the picturesque Centovalli (=one hundred valleys) region of Ticino, Switzerland's Italian-speaking canton. Moving to the nearby village of Maggia in the green Vallemaggia (Maggia Valley, 20 minutes' drive from Locarno) at the end of 2006.
Ten minutes' drive from Locarno, the venue of the world-famous Locarno Film Festival.

| Things I like: | Thunderstorms, the smell of jasmine flowers in the warm summer air, dark green velvet moss, the smell of freshly mown grass, Angelo's cooking, fishing with my father in Ireland, travelling and discovering other cultures and cuisines, the crystal clear water of the Maggia Valley... and playing scrabble online with other people. | |
