Cevio Museum, Cevio (10 minutes' drive from Maggia)
	Discover the history of the valley and its inhabitants and how people used to live in dwellings beneath the rocks. In the woods above the museum is a trail of old stone dwellings built around the massive rocks strewn here and there on the mountain face. It is a good idea to take a torch with you to visit the dwellings on the inside as well. Brissago Island Botanical Gardens (10 minutes' drive from Locarno)
	Take a leisurely stroll among flowers, trees and peacocks at the Botanical Gardens of the Brissago Islands on Lake Maggiore, a short boat trip from the village of Brissago.
