Turn radio on while holding in buttons 1,2,3,on the key pad.

This will get you in the hidden menu.

To watch out for the changes

WARNING!!!!! UNLIKE THE REGULAR MENU, THE SERVICE MENU HAS NO DEFAULT SETTINGS.THIS MEANS IF YOU CHANGE THE VALUES IN THE SERVICE MENU AND SAVE IT  A FULL RESET OF THE RADIO WILLNOT PUT IT BACK TO THE FACTORY SETTINGS.DOING ANYTHING IN THE SERVICE MENU COULD VOID YOUR WARRENTY WITH YAESU.IF YOU LOOK IN THE SERVICE MENU AND HAPPEN TO BUMP SOMETHING CUT THE POWER TO THE RADIO OFF SO IT WILLNOT BE SAVED.
