FT2000 EDSP UPDATE TIPS

Problem?

- FIRST do the 133 update

- THEN the EDSP 10.29

- follow the instructions on the Yaesu site EXACTLY!

SET PC COM PORT:

- ENTER START

- CONTROL PANEL

- SYSTEM

- HARDWARE

- SELECT COM

- SELECT YOUR COM PORT MENU AND SET:

Put the radio into DSP programming mode by holding the

DNF, CONT, and DNR buttons

while turning the radio on.

Next then turn on the PC:

  this ensures the COM port is released or CTS DTR level is correct

Reflash the eDSP firmware with exactly YAESU procedure!

ME PERSONAL RADIO SETING:

> #27  38k4

> #28  10

> #29  OFF

orher OM others have used:

> #27  4800

> #28  1000

> #29  ON

and others have used:

> #27  9600

> #28  10

> #29  ON or OFF

I believe that this is little main point?

Also make sure the serial cable you are using has all 9 wires connected straight through

and not just txd, rxd, and ground. Me personal COM CABLE is 1:1 wired!

PROBLEM DURING/ON EDSP UPDATE at 00.00 ???

- Re-install the DSP software same exactly Yaesu procedure

REMEMBER to DOWNLOAD the ZIP compressed file from original YAESU site at www.yaesu.com or via our link what  is directed on the original site of the Yaesu. Then unpack full witout name change at file or path!

I believe that the YAESU  updatings software both rather unstable with of the simple ones "on error resume next" in a lot of parts of the soft!
