Using the Google DE-IT
parallel text search interface, find an
Italian translation of the terms "Messmittelverordnung", “Strafregister” or “Überwachung Post- und Fernmeldeverkehr”
(3 separate searches). Look for pages on the results list whose URLs contain
a language code identifying the page as being in German: you are more likely to
find parallel texts there.
Now search for an Italian translation of "Messmittelverordnung",
“Strafregister”
or “Überwachung Post- und
Fernmeldeverkehr” (run three separate searches) targeting the
two multilingual websites www.admin.ch
and www.ch.ch (which have parallel
texts in the Swiss national languages) at the same time directly via Google
(using "site:").

An alternative would be to go directly to each website’s own search
page and use its own search engine. This may cover more of the site's pages
than a general-purpose search engine (possibly including more document
formats, too). Most of the pages on the www.ch.ch website are available in
the Swiss national languages. |

Pdf files rarely contain
hyperlinks to other web pages, so if you are looking for parallel texts
using the Google PT search interface with the "SL in URL &
language link" technique (see drop-down list of alternative
techniques), avoid opening pdf documents in Google's hit list as they are
less likely to lead to parallel texts. |

for finding parallel texts on the same page to locate
an Italian translation of the German phrase "untersteht schweizerischem Recht".
TIP:
To broaden your search, instead of searching for the exact phrase, remove the
term "schweizerischem" and replace it with any term by inserting a word wildcard
"*" in its place. (Your additional Italian-specific search terms
might include “diritto”.)
